Creative Crafting – All ages, from the young to the young at heart, are welcome in these fun crafting sessions. The projects change each month, so you are sure to find something to enjoy. There will be snacks, good company, and lots of fun! Follow us on Facebook to stay up to date on the latest event.
Good Mourning – Are you grieving a loved one? Come be with others who are grieving. You will find good discussion, good food, and most importantly, good company. Dates and times vary, so follow us on Facebook for meeting times.
Bible Studies (throughout the year) – Want to learn more about the Bible and God? Ask about the next Bible Study.
Prayer Group – Join us as we pray for each other and our community.
Choir Practice – Like to sing? Come sing with us! We sing on Sundays. All ages, youth and adult, are welcome. If you can’t be here every Sunday, it’s okay. We’re happy to have you singing God’s praises with us anytime.
Mugs and Hugs – You’ll find lots of love and compassion here. It’s a place for encouragement & healing.
Prayer Team – Pray with us when we receive a call for special prayer requests.
Nursing Home Visits – Bring song and cheer to the residents of the local assisted living centers.
Food Pantry - Bring in canned/boxed food items to help support our community food pantry.
Little Free Pantry - The Girl Scouts have created a practical way to immediately help anyone who is hungry. Their Little Free Pantry is under a shade tree in our parking lot. Anyone is welcome to help themselves to the food inside. You can help by donating snack items and ready to eat food whenever you can.
United Methodist Women Spaghetti Supper – Pitch in as we help these hard-working ladies raise funds for local and national missions.
Chili and Soup Cook-off – Bring a pot of chili or soup or simply bring your family and friends to this fun contest!
Festival Fundraisers – Come help cook, serve, or sell at our food booths during local festivals.
School Projects – Help with serving the needs of our local school children.
Free Community Thanksgiving Dinner – The entire Hermann community comes together to make this event happen. This turkey-dinner-with-all-the-trimmings is cooked & served in our church kitchen and dining hall. Come help Thanksgiving Day.
Giving Room – Spread lots of good cheer as you help with this event where children Christmas shop for their loved ones.
Bell Ringing for the Ministerial Alliance – Help those in need in our community by being a bell ringer.
Community Christmas Eve Candlelight Service – Use your talents to make this a special event for the entire community.
